Gopher Hills Farm was started in 2014 by Criss Sanders under the name of La Plume Farm (LPF). Criss fell in love with several tasty French breeds of chicken and wanted to share some of the best tasting chickens in the world with others. Criss and Justin met in 2019 and at the end of 2021, their little family combined and moved to a bigger farm!  
LPF expanded to include vegetables, an orchard, flowers, bees and other livestock after the move. After tripping in, over, and cursing the mole and gopher mounds LPF became Gopher Hills Farm. Indeed, you can look out over the pasture and see the evidence of the little creatures presence. Don't worry, theres no explosions on the property. Moles indicate good workable soil and provide aeration for the pasture.
